Beginners Workshop with Felting Artist Jacqueline Leblanc

A workshop for beginners and those with wet felting experience whom would like to learn new techniques. The objective of this 2-day workshop is to guide students through each step of the wet felting process.
Following the techniques and understanding that Jacqueline has to offer, you will have the tools  to make a well structured and intentional felt that will hold up to garment, home decor and sculptural applications.
Learn to produce a well structured felted fabric fabric by hand. move through the process of making prefelt, composing and embellishing a felted fabric.
Students will produce a wall hanging which incorporates a variety of felting techniques.

Next class: Saturday September 27th and Sunday September 28th

Learn how to make a relatively small project that's perfect for learning how to use a resist in felting.
This technique has many applications such as handbags, clothing, scarves, sculpture, etc.
