PROGRESS

..lots of progress.
My first abstract rug is almost complete. Yup the first. I enjoyed the process so much that I am beginning to plan the next.
I have finished up a new knitting pattern and sample for our next newsletter.
Classes are rolling along merrily. I am working with individuals and very small groups this year so that those who are not able to book into a regularly scheduled workshop can book at any time.
I love one-on-one teaching! I find it so satisfying for myself and, I believe, for my students as well.

..aaaaand for the best progress of all, Bird is eating on his (her) own!
which also means that I am now proprietor of a full-fledged meal worm colony (a necessary sideline for human bird moms).
Bird eats moistened dog food for the most part but, really, no self respecting starling can go without live grubs.
I'm so proud. It's so much easier for orphaned chicks to make progress when they are being reared with others. Bird is making it all on his own (well, with his pseudomom)

So there you have it ........ all bright lights and big city here at London-Wul!
Hope you're summer is progressing marvelously!
