hand carded batts - spinning bliss - online shop coming soon!
My favourite fibre to spin, by far, is that which has been prepared as a hand-carded batt.
Some of life's little luxuries are well worth the effort. I've made these up in a blend of hand dyed merino/silk and glitter. They are available here in the shop and will be available, in the New Year, for purchase on-line.

Heidi's by Hand
I'm delighted to have more and more of my own yarns filling the shop at London-Wul.
It's been a dream in the making with any number of creative projects along the way.
The shelves are brimming over and production is in full swing for more to come. Customer favourites remain Heidi's by Hand sock yarn as well as bulky handspun singles. The family is growing, however, with merino dk, BFL fingering weight and merino lace weight on board.
All new yarns are on queue for the New Year including an irresistible merino silk and a custom, super-dependable, all-Canadian worsted. I can't wait for you to meet them all!

Summer Fling
... my summer fling pattern is now available as a pdf download.
It's a fun knit with a simple pattern repeat. It's easy to wear and can be knit in any size. I think I'd like to have it in several colours, well maybe emerald green for a start... Summer Fling KAL?
