I LOVE OUR NEW BABY LOCKS!

Well we had an amazing 3 days with Jeannie of baby Lock Canada. We've officially launched our new line of Baby Lock equipment, eaten cake, drawn prize winners, sewn serged and felted! I'm just now lifting my head from pouring over all of the new machines in the shop! I simply can't tell all in a single post so I'll start by introducing you to my new BabyLock Embellisher. Isn't she a beauty!!

On day #1 with my new studio addition I set out to fashion a wee present for my soon to be baby niece. ...a bit of mohair, wool fabric, wool roving , ribbon for fastening and there you have it. Did I mention that I love my new Embellisher?

HE'S BACK!....ALMOST

After a loooong time at home recovering from knee surgery (TPLO on both knees, should your dog be experiencing difficulty and you'd like to speak to someone who has gone with this procedure) Angus wanted to walk up to the shop to visit with his mom (that's me, I'm so proud of him!). Here he is frothing with excitement to be out and about (OK ,so he drools all the time, whatever, it becomes endearing, trust me). He is coming along extremely well and is feeling the benefits of solid knees beneath him with a whole new vigour. Armed with his no-slip boots he's a force to be reckoned with. We have only to install no-slip mats along the length of the shop and through the studio (we have had great success but are not taking ANY chances) and he shall return, the shop dog that we all know and love!
...thanks a million to all who have asked about Angus, wished him well, brought him biscuits and sent happy thoughts. All have been much appreciated and well received!
