EINSTEIN MEETS MUSHU

Ok, so there was some major Einstein activity here on Sunday and guess what? I completely forgot to take pictures! I did, however receive this picture of Mushu sporting her own freshly knit coat. Patsy, my sister in law and Mushu's mom, is a new knitter. She was a wee bit daunted by the Einstein coat and decided to join us by knitting a somewhat smaller project to start off with. Our KAL is after all, the "Custom Einstein"! So here's Mushu, in Montreal, looking very pleased with her superbly fitted garment. Yay Patsy! We're so glad that you've joined "those who knit".

In the past week we have seen Renee's Einstein completed. Renee picked out some amazing pewter buttons which complemented the coat beautifully. Lots of other knitters at various stages of completion ... photos to come, I promise.

Top marks for always seeing things in a positive light go to my sister Gwen who is knitting the Einstein as her first major project. Gwen let me know that, although her schedule does not allow for major amounts of knitting time, she is steadily working away at it. .... AND as fate would have it, she has already found the perfect red cashmere sweater to wear under her Einstein when it's done :)
