VIRTUAL VISIT TO LONDON-WUL

BEFORE THERE WAS FIBRE

Before there was fibre and from the beginning of time (for me) there have been creatures , particularly birds, flitting into and out of my life. Here is the most recent arrival. A starling baby who just happened to crawl through our warehouse insulation and land in our attic hatch. Bare bottomed and downy headed, he (or she) was more than ready for a meal and I have been obliging (every 20 minutes or so) for the past week.

SUMMER BUZZ

..... there is a definite feeling of excitement as people begin to hit the road.
We tidy the garden, mow the lawns, spin new yarns and prepare for our summer visitors.

rug hooking bits and pieces abound!

GETTING IT DOWN ON BACKING

...finally getting a new rug onto backing and it feels good.
This rug will be made up to satisfy April Deconick's Abstract Rug Challenge.
A little hint, I am focusing on my garden this year.
