Thinking Ahead

January is a great time to :

refresh your moisturizer, pick out a lovely new moisturizer to maintain smooth, healthy hands all the better to create with.

freeze your wool, use the winds of January to your advantage. Set your stash out to freeze. A series of freezing and thawing sessions will keep your natural fibres healthy and free of damaging insects.

cut, paste and collage, collecting and scrapbooking images, articles, photos, phrases, song verses and captivating colour combinations will fuel your imagination for future projects.

organize your stash, what better time than the start of a new year to re-group your fibres, yarns and fabrics. I like to arrange according to colour.

divide and distribute your soap, cut scented bars of soap into small segments and scatter them throughout your stash. not only will your supplies smell lovely, clean fresh scents particularly mint and lavender will fend off harmful fibre loving insects.
